We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Design Coordinator to join our talented team. As a Design Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our design operations, managing all aspects of design selections and ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standards. If you have a proven track record in residential design and are passionate about creating stunning, functional living spaces, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire design and selection process, ensuring clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Work closely with the construction and preconstruction department to bring design visions to life.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with clients to finalize design choices and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Manage the design appointments calendar.
  • Submit CORs for each project to the pre-construction department. 
  • Submit exterior selections to the ARB of different communities. 
  • Schedule additional meetings between vendors and clients when needed. 
  • Enter all selections and specifications into MarkSystems (ERP used by RNL Homes)
  • Review and approve cabinetry changes and contracts. 
  • Collect deposits for design studio upgrades from clients. 
  • Create a selection packet with specifications for each client prior to release for construction.
  • Maintain the design studio clean, organized, and with the most up-to-date samples. 
  • Maintain accurate records of design plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Develop processes to enhance the customer experience and ensure satisfaction.
  • Market and sell design upgrades during client meetings, contributing to the overall sales strategy.
  • Regularly review project progress and address any design-related issues promptly.
  • Keep all relevant stakeholders informed about critical design elements and updates.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in residential construction design is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and design processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to create positive client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
